Sunday - barbie and bushwalk

It's sunday and sunny. Perfect conditions for a barbie, backyard-fun and bushwalking.
Unfortunately Austria is not surrounded by any oceans, but luckily we got a lot of rivers and therefore loads of water for splish splash fun in the backyard. It's not good for surfing though...

Eating bangers, sipping on a tinnie and enjoying this view on Innsbruck city

After the BBQ the jolly group of Austrians and Finnish decided to go for a hike (also known as bushwalk)... up the slopes around Innsbruck.

On the way up, that's what all Austrian do every sunday, you look for a ants nest and put your hand in. It's very stimulating for the blood circulation and therefore it is supposed to be healthy..
Within a 2 hours walk from Innsbruck city you can get up to a hut on 1500m. There are heaps of animals up there, they got a nice view and a teley to watch Italy lose against Spain.
Up there they have got scottish highland cattle. Very beautiful looking animals. By the way....the first of this breed were imported to Austria in 1986 by my friend Samuel's dad.
Beside the scottish cows, there was a spanish ass and a snake that wants to be Australian, cos here nobody takes her for serious as she is not venomous...

That's the hut.....the inside.......and the swing in front of it, which is made out of a seat of an old skiing-chair-liftIn honour for the Spanish, cos they beat the Italian, i tried to do some bull fighting. But the bull was not very interested...maybe he was night blind or something...

We also were not too lucky with the weather, cos when we were walking down in the dark with our torches it began to rain like hell. Everybody ended up completely wet. But still it was a great sunday, i think the pictures are a good proof...
